Manager IT Domain Architect
As a Manager IT Domain Architect, you will create architectural specifications and strategies within your domain. In addition, you are responsible for designing IT architectures in complex projects in coordination with the affected business units and IT partners.
These are your challenges:
- You create and maintain the target architecture, taking into account the requirements and costs, with the IT partners
- Align the Architecture Roadmap together with the affected business units and the IT partners up to the main department management level
- You advise the project manager and other project participants concerning the architecture and carry out the acceptance of the detailed design
- Optimize systems, applications and processes, as well as providing expert guidance to the employees involved
Required Skills:
- Experience in collaboration and managing external solution partners
- Good knowledge of the processes and systems in the telecommunication sector
- Fluency in German and very good English
- Several years of experience in the design and development of complex web applications
- Sound knowledge of IT-infrastructure (SDN, firewall, load balancer, virtualization based on VMWare ESX) and communication protocols
- Relevant experience in the area of WEB architecture (Apache, WebLogic, etc.), cloud environment and deployment automation as well as configuration management (Puppet, Spacewalk)
- Knowledge of encryption, proxy, monitoring, VPN, logging, OpenSSO
- Know-how in user management / authentication (LDAP, Linux user + groups, public / private key)
- Very good knowledge and secure application of efficient and innovative methods of business and system analysis and software creation (design, modeling, programming and quality assurance)
- Secure application of methods for data and process modelling
- Mastering the required programming languages (Ruby, Python, Perl)
- Knowledge and experience in project management (certification desirable)
- Expertise in the development of state of the art IT solutions
- Assertiveness and safe handling of stakeholders and suppliers
- Distinctive innovation thinking and knowledge of current, advanced methods of SW development
